How can we help?

Setup takes just a few minutes:

• Download Clann on the parent's iPhone and sign in with your Apple Account.
• Create your family, then send an invite to each family member.
• On each person's phone, open the invite to join and choose their location-sharing preference.
• For a child's device, follow the on-screen prompts to enable location and (optionally) Screen Time controls.

Once everyone has joined, you'll see the whole family on your map.

From the app, tap to invite a family member and share the link or code with them. When they open it on their iPhone, Clann connects their device to your family automatically. Invites are private to your family and can be managed from the app.

Clann is built for iPhone. Location sharing and parental controls rely on Apple frameworks that are available on modern versions of iOS. For the best experience, keep everyone's device on a recent iOS version.

To show live location and notify your family when someone arrives at or leaves a place, iOS requires background ("Always") location permission. Without it, locations only update while the app is open, and arrival alerts won't fire reliably.

You can review or change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Clann.

A stale location is almost always a device or permission issue on that person's phone. Check that, on their device:

• Clann's location permission is set to Always and Precise Location is on.
• Location Services is enabled and the phone has signal and battery.
• They're actively sharing their location in the app.

Opening Clann on their phone will refresh their position right away.

Open the Places tab, add a location, and give it a name. Clann will let the family know when someone arrives at or leaves that place. You can adjust the area for each place so alerts trigger where you want them.

Yes. Every family member controls their own sharing and can turn it off at any time. When you're not sharing, your location isn't collected, and your family will see that you're not currently sharing.

On the parent device, open your child's controls and set app or category limits, bedtime, and downtime. On the child's device, you'll approve Apple's Screen Time permission once (Family Controls). After that, Clann applies the limits and shows a calm block screen when one is reached.

When your child taps "ask for more time," you'll get a notification. You can approve a set amount right from the notification or the app — no need to be on their device. The extra time applies to their phone within moments.

Make sure the child's device has completed the Screen Time (Family Controls) setup and is signed in to iCloud with the child's own Apple Account. If usage or limits look off after restoring a phone from backup, re-check that iCloud sign-in — it's the most common cause. Still stuck? Email support@prvail.ai and describe what you're seeing.

Yes. Your family's location and controls are shared only within your family. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use third-party trackers. Read the full Privacy Policy for details.

You can remove family members and delete your account from within the app. Deleting your account removes your associated personal data (aside from limited records we may be legally required to keep). Prefer we handle it? Email support@prvail.ai.

Open the app, go to your family settings, and choose to leave. Once you leave, you'll no longer share location with that family or appear on their map.
